Abstract
Technocratic ideology has often recurred in the Italian political and constitutional history. At times, such «ideology» was characterised by anti-parliamentarism, while at others it adhered to a model which combined the political class and the technocratic project. The essay gives an account of the diachronic course of the technical governments in the Italian parliamentary history, from Menabrea’s government in 1867 to the current Monti’sgovernment,inofficesinceNovember2011,byanalysing the particular characteristics of an experience that, due to its broad parliamentary consensus and to its special mission of rebalancing the political framework altered by a marked conflict between the political parties, is clearly different from the previous experiences of «technical» governments, which were limited to a given timeframe.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
