The paper describes the design and development of a prototype for the teaching of simultaneous interpreting, called "Interpretations". The software package is aimed at beginners in simultaneous interpreting and therefore makes it possible for teachers to easily assemble text, audio and video resources to create interpreter training exercises of various kinds: shadowing and clozing; paraphrasing; sight translation; and simultaneous interpreting proper.
