As of this writing, Gaza is besieged by Israel. Since the Hamas attack on 7th October, the civilian population of the Strip has been deprived of water, fuel and electricity and more than 10,000 Palestinians have been killed. From the Italian press it emerges that the institutional and geopolitical scenarios are uncertain, and if Israel has long been considered a democratic outpost in the MENA area, the demonstrations in favor of Palestine throughout Europe denounce the fact that it has instead practiced apartheid against the inhabitants of Gaza.
