Abstract
In the wide range of interests of Giovanni Vacca (1872-1953), among mathematics and sinology, perhaps the least organically developed part is that which concerns Chinese language, of which, excluding the many pages of Chinese characters found among notes and manuscripts, little has been collected and analysed by those who have been working on the study and dissemination of his work.1 The manuscripts dealt with in this essay are new to the scholarly world and are here for the first time disclosed and brought to light, filling a gap in what is already known about Vacca’s contribution to Italian sinology.File in questo prodotto:
